Performs diagnostic radiographic exams to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Responsible for positioning patients, adjusting equipment settings, and ensuring image quality and patient safety.
Requires a degree in Radiologic Technology and current licensure as an LMRT or Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board. One year of related experience and familiarity with digital radiography and PACS are preferred.
Performs radiographic exams to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and patients’ families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.
Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology that meets the requirements for Texas certification of Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist.
High school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
At least one year of related work experience preferred. Experience in digital radiography preferred (CR and /or DR). Familiarity with PACS image retrieval and storage. Experience working with all age groups.
Current licensure as a Limited Medical Radiological through the Texas Medical Board. Current licensure as a Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board. Radiological Technologist must be in good standing with American Registry of Radiological Technologist.
Monday - Friday 4pm-9pm (25hrs)
