The nurse provides comprehensive physical and mental health care, including assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for patients with various behavioral disorders. They are also responsible for documenting the nursing process and participating in quality improvement activities.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with a current Connecticut or Compact license and BCLS certification. A minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health and gerontological nursing is preferred.
