The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for collecting patient histories and performing various ocular diagnostic tests and imaging. They also provide clinical support during procedures and educate patients on post-operative care and medications.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in ophthalmology and the ability to perform manifest refraction and Goldmann tonometry. Certification is preferred but not required.

The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for collecting and recording ocular and systemic patient histories, visual acuities, BP, IOP, Auto refractions, Manifest Refractions, performing external examinations, and dry-eye testing, as well as disease specific extra testing. Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Minimal of one year in Ophthalmology Certification preferred by not required Skills and Abilities Superior interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to perform manifest refraction is required Ability to perform Goldmann tonometry is required. Ability to effectively multitask Attentive to detail and accuracy.
