Provide critical care and stabilization to emergency patients in a Level II Trauma Center. Coordinate patient care, perform triage, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Requires a California Registered Nurse license and at least 2 years of acute care experience in ICU or ER units. Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process within hospital policies. Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify patient outcomes and complete holistic assessments. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, including physician and nursing orders. Acquire and maintain current knowledge in nursing practice through ongoing education and participate in mentorship. Delegate appropriate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) and monitor quality of care. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, fostering a positive environment. Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Dakota Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) PALS or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
