The RN provides skilled nursing care through patient assessment, planning, and treatment in a pre-op and post-op setting. Key duties include monitoring physical status, managing airways, and coordinating care to ensure patient safety and recovery.
Candidates must possess strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to interpret diagnostic tests like EKGs and lab results. Proficiency in medical record documentation and knowledge of privacy practices and infection control are required.
Provides skilled nursing care using knowledgeable evaluation and assessment techniques in planning for care and treatment of individual patient needs. Utilizes assessment skills, plans for continuity of care, able to individualize patient needs. Understands the importance of patient education and offers goal directed nursing care to patients. Supervisory Relationships: Reports to Director of Nursing Ambulatory Surgery Center
