Perform technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist anesthesia providers with procedures for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting with invasive line placements, and maintaining anesthesia supplies across various hospital locations.
Requires a high school diploma and Basic Life Support Provider Certification, with a preference for an associate degree in Anesthesia Technology. Candidates must have at least one year of direct patient contact experience as an EMT, LPN, or in a related clinical role.

Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists, residents, and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics. Performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies.
Duke Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina (This position will float between Operating Room, CT, MRI, Cath lab and Radiology)
One Saturday every six weeks
Premium pay rates offered for weekend shifts
College coursework in healthcare and/or basic sciences preferred.
Associated degree in Anesthesia Technology from an Accredited ASATT program preferred.
Work requires one year of recent anesthesia technician experience.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Basic Life Support Provider Certification.
American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians Certification preferred.
