The Behavior Specialist provides clinical support to group homes by assisting BCBAs with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors. Responsibilities include monitoring direct support professionals, collecting data, and conducting integrity assessments of behavior support plans.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field and possess RBT certification. At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual/developmental disabilities is required.
You'd make a great Behavior Specialist if you have: Master's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually /Developmentally Disabled clients Be 18 years of age or older (required). Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. Have a valid non-provisional driver's license.
