The Radiologic Technologist prepares patients and equipment for angiographic procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and assisting the cath lab team. Responsibilities also include operating various electronic equipment and performing quality control checks on radiographic images.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and be ARRT registered, with 1-2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology. Basic Life Support certification is also required within three months of hire.
This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assists in preparing patient for procedures and assists other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures. *Eligible for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus*

Credential: BLS: Basic Life Support
Knowledge of radiography as normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required. ARRT required. Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures as normally acquired through 1-2 years experience in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and/or the interventional radiology setting required.
