Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from substance use disorders. Coordinate care with community providers and maintain comprehensive client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requires a high school diploma and a combination of education and experience in behavioral health totaling at least 4 years, or a degree in a behavioral health field. An active LAC license or higher is preferred.
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances. Must be 21 years of age High school diploma or GED required Associates, bachelors or masters in behavioral health preferred Behavioral health experience in Counseling or Case Management preferred #CONSL
