The Pharmacy Regulatory Compliance Specialist ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations and oversees inspections and documentation related to medication safety. They also coordinate education and competency assessments for pharmacy personnel and manage the Continuous Quality Improvement program.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a registered pharmacy technician license. Two years of pharmacy experience is also necessary for this position.
Ensures compliance with required pharmacy inspection and documentation of emergency code carts / boxes and enter the results into Performance Improvement database as identified. Oversee and ensure compliance with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), OSHA, CMS regulations, The Joint Commission, Board of Pharmacy and Orlando Health environment of care requirements. Adheres to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) compliance standards.
