The Registered Nurse will coordinate client care services, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide nursing care. They will also lead nursing activities and advocate for clients while ensuring quality improvement and safety.
Candidates must have a current license to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska or through the Nurse Licensure Compact. Additionally, they must pass background checks and complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Starting Wage: $39.566-$51.797 per hours (base of $36.566-$48.797/hour + $3.00/hour Differential + $1.50-2.50 Shift Differentials) Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved. WAGE INCREASE EFFECTIVE 7/1/26: $40.389-$52.895 per hour (base of $37.389-$49.895/hour + $3.00/hour Differential + up to $1.50-2.50 Shift Differentials) Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved. JOB DUTIES: Coordination of client care services to include comprehensive admission assessment and care plans. Provide nursing care and on-going assessment. Provide direction and nursing leadership in the accomplishment of care plan and unit care team activities. Act as client advocate and is a leader in quality improvement, safety and infection control. Requirements / Qualifications:
A current license to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska.
Must pass background checks and complete pre-employment drug screening.
Knowledge of nursing theory and practice; accepted standards of care; policies and procedures governing nursing care; sanitation and infection control standards, policies and procedures and techniques of providing quality nursing care. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis; to frequently bend at the waist and neck and frequently twist at the waist and walk or stand up to 50% of the shift.
