The Ophthalmic Technician assists doctors with patient eye examinations, including performing workups, vision tests, and scribing. They are also responsible for collecting medical data, maintaining ophthalmic instruments, and assisting with basic clinical procedures.
Candidates should have two years of work experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant and a valid driver's license. Certification is preferred but not required, and training will be provided upon hire.

Gathering medical records and patient information Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional Administering or preparing medications Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments Assisting the doctors in basic procedures
