Provide direct technical services and medication administration to support individuals in co-occurring treatment programs. Perform essential functions of both a Residential Service Technician and Residential Crisis Worker across multiple program locations.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in mental health residential settings, with a degree in mental health preferred. Must obtain MHRT1 certification within one year and pass comprehensive background and health screenings.
This is a full-time / 40-hour per week position; schedule and location may vary depending on program needs.
Onsite. Varies across 6 programs within Portland and South Portland.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred. Minimum experience of 1 year in Mental Health Residential; 2 plus years preferred. Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status. A flexible schedule is required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check. Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list. If MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check If residential or ECE employee must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen. Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds. Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to the agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.
