The Nuclear Med Tech is responsible for administering radioactive isotopes and operating scanning equipment to provide diagnostic aid to physicians. They also perform laboratory tests, maintain quality control of machinery, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and at least three years of experience as a Nuclear Medical Technologist. Required certifications include ARRT, current IV, and CPR certifications.
