In Home Caregivers support participants with essential household duties such as laundry, housekeeping, shopping, and preparing meals. Staff also assist with personal care services including transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted and 200 lbs with assistance (Hoyer lift). A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and the ability to obtain necessary background clearances are mandatory.
accessAbilities, a local Human Services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring, part-time staff to assist individuals with In Home Caregiver services in the Herminie, PA area for our Home & Community services program.
In Home Caregivers (also known as Attendants) support participants with household duties and personal care services. Staff assist with laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals, and help with errands. Duties also include transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc.
We offer Flexible Hours and Shifts.
No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided.
Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
