The technician is responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments, trays, and endoscopes. Additionally, they assemble case carts with the necessary surgical supplies.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate's degree preferred. Candidates must have at least 1 year of SPD experience and obtain CRST certification within one year of hire.
