Perform clinical hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, and x-rays while educating patients on oral health. Collaborate with doctors to identify restorative needs and maintain accurate patient health records.
Requires a degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license. Must hold certifications in X-Ray/Radiology and Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide where state regulations specify.

By joining our practice, you will have: Work-Life Balance: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Scrub Allowance Career Growth and Development Opportunities Key Responsibilities: Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
