The role focuses on recruiting and screening participants for schizophrenia studies and developing REDCap databases. Responsibilities include conducting outreach to mental health clinics and assisting with study visits and administrative tasks.
A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for degrees in psychology or related fields. Candidates must be willing to undergo phlebotomy certification and commit to the role for at least two years.
Responsibilities include: Understanding study requirements and able to develop and implement recruitment plan. Serve as contact person for advertisements and conduct phone screens for potentially eligible individuals. Maintaining a recruitment database and assisting in the development of study databases. Presenting studies at area mental health clinics and community events. Ongoing attendance at recruitment meetings. Acting as a liaison with affiliated outpatient unit clinics and inpatient units. Conducting outreach with treatment centers in the New York City area. Conducting screen visit procedures Assisting in conducting study visits, and administrative tasks, as required.
Bachelor's degree. Willing to undergo training to be certified for phlebotomy. (2) years of commitment
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field. Experience doing clinical work with individuals with schizophrenia. Experience with REDCap.
