Candidates must have a BA or BS in a neuroscience-related field and at least one year of experience in three specific laboratory techniques. Experience with genotyping transgenic rodents is preferred.
This research focuses on neurobehavioral systems, employing environmental and molecular/genetic manipulations to investigate neural cellular and circuit structure, function, and their impact on behavior. Responsibilities will vary depending on experimental demands and may include: Handling research rodents. Performing stereotaxic surgeries and monitoring during recovery. Conducting behavioral testing. Performing anatomical circuit tracing and neurohistology. Conducting electrophysiology and biosensor recordings. Analyzing data. Additional Requirements: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous record-keeping, and aid others in the laboratory with data Flexible scheduling, including availability for evening and weekend work.
BA or BS level education in a neuroscience-related field. At least (1) year of experience in at least 3 of the above-listed techniques.
