The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting providers with examinations and treatments. They also handle sample collection, laboratory tests, and various administrative clerical duties.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a certificate from a Medical Assisting Program. Certification or registration from an accredited certifying board is required.
