The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting providers with examinations and treatments. They also handle sample collection, routine laboratory tests, and various administrative duties.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a certificate from a Medical Assisting Program, with state or national certification preferred. Experience in a physician's office and proficiency in phlebotomy and HIPAA compliance are required.
