Provide therapeutic services to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through assessments and individualized treatment plans. Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions while maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring a safe recovery environment.
Candidates must hold an LADC II licensure, a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, or be license-eligible. Experience in residential treatment settings and familiarity with evidence-based practices are preferred.
We are seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Counselors / Therapists to provide therapeutic services to adults receiving treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This position will support clients through assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning while contributing to a safe and recovery-focused treatment environment. Key Responsibilities Assess the behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and their families Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team Facilitate clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program, licensing, and accreditation standards Participate in utilization review processes by providing required documentation Support the development of aftercare plans and assist with outcomes tracking Contribute to clinical programming, including curriculum development and program enhancement Provide crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment Conduct Level of Care assessments as needed Participate in clinical on-call rotation as assigned Complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements at the time of hire: Hold an LADC II or higher clinical licensure, or Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services or a related field in lieu of licensure, or Be license-eligible, with eligibility confirmed by the site Clinical Director or Executive Director Preferred Experience Experience in residential treatment settings Experience working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorders Familiarity with electronic clinical records (ECR) systems Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices Why Join Pyramid Healthcare?
