The RN will manage the total endoscopy process, including admitting patients, assisting physicians during procedures, and overseeing recovery until discharge. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate medical documentation and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
The candidate must be a Registered Nurse with a desire to grow within the nursing profession. They should be capable of handling tissue specimens and providing compassionate care while maintaining patient privacy.
We are looking for an RN that has a desire to be part of a team and grow in the nursing profession. You will proactively participate as a team member in support of the total endoscopy process: Admit and care for patients prior to their endoscopy procedure; explain plan of care to the patients; care for patients and assist physicians during the endoscopy procedure; handle tissue specimens correctly and accurately according to policy and procedures; care for patients post procedure from recovery to discharge; monitor patient condition and maintain timely documentation
Review medical records, provide continuity of care, collaborate with other members of the healthcare team; provide comfort and reassurance to patients, maintain patient's privacy and dignity
