Perform pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations and manage hearing aids and cochlear implants for a medically complex patient population. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and physicians to provide comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation.
Requires a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and an active New York Audiology license. Candidates with over 4 years of clinical experience are strongly preferred due to the autonomous nature of the role.
This highly respected pediatric healthcare organization in the Valhalla, New York area is seeking an experienced Pediatric Audiologist to join its interdisciplinary clinical team. Full-time, weekday schedule, professional daytime hours Generous base salary Opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation environment Established patient flow through hospital and physician referrals Strong support from interdisciplinary teams including Speech, OT, PT, Respiratory Therapy, and Child Life Services Transition support available from the current long-tenured Audiologist
Pediatric diagnostic evaluations for inpatient and outpatient populations Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), ASSR, and OAE testing Newborn hearing follow-ups Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and management Cochlear implant support and programming Daily equipment checks and calibration oversight Family counseling and education regarding hearing loss and intervention options Collaboration with physicians, therapists, educators, and school districts
This position serves a fully pediatric patient population ranging from infants through young adults, including children with complex medical and developmental diagnoses.
Ideal Candidate Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Active New York Audiology license or ability to obtain Pediatric audiology experience preferred Comfortable working independently in a solo-provider setting Strong diagnostic and electrophysiological testing background Compassionate, patient-focused communication style
Candidates with 4+ years of clinical experience are strongly preferred due to the autonomous nature of the role.
