Perform physical therapy evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function. Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient care activities.
Requires a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (B.S., M.S., or diploma) and a valid license to practice in the State of Maine. CPR/Basic Life Support certification and a valid Maine driver's license are also required.

Full Time, salaried, non-union, exempt.
Amount would be $7,500. 25% paid after the probationary period is completed. 25% to be paid at 6 months and 50% to be paid after the first year of employment.
Actively participates in the Hospital-wide Quality Improvement Program, actively supports and implements Department-specific Quality improvement initiatives and projects, recommends process improvement as appropriate, reports any quality issues in service delivery and consistently commits to a focus on quality improvement and organizational excellence.
As an employee of Penobscot Valley Hospital, the position has an inherent role to care for our community members when in need. To this regard, the incumbent will be expected to participate in emergency/disaster preparedness plan participate in emergency/disaster preparedness planning and drills as requested. as requested. as requested. When called upon during a real life disaster/emergency event, the incumbent will be expected to participate in the Hospital’s response to this event, within the scope of professional and personal ability to do so.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program, diploma, M.S., or B.S. degree required. License to practice or eligible to practice in State of Maine. Valid Maine driver’s license. Previous patient care experience preferred. CPR/Basic Life Support Certification required.
