The RN - Infusion assesses patient needs and implements nursing interventions based on a plan of care. They collaborate with providers to deliver high-quality infusion therapies and outpatient procedures in accordance with professional guidelines.
Candidates must hold a valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license and American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification. National certification in a specialty and an ONS Provider Card may be required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes. Involves the patient, family, and other health care team members in gathering data. Uses an ongoing, systematic process to gather relevant data from patient and family. Analyzes data to identify needs and potential risks. Identifies outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic and attainable. Validates outcomes and develops plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and other healthcare team members. Documents data and identified outcomes. Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care. Provides care according to the plan, and in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures and relevant nursing practice guidelines. Coordinates nursing care with the appropriate measures to meet patient needs and achieve expected outcomes. Initiates age and culturally appropriate measures to meet patient needs and achieve expected outcomes. Collaborates, consults, or makes referrals if unable to perform safely and independently. Delegates direct and indirect patient care activities to appropriate personnel based on needs, condition, potential for risk/harm, complexity of the skills, predictability of outcomes, and patient flow. Required Qualifications 1 year of nursing experience MN Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of acute care or infusion-based nursing experience

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
