Perform MRI procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases under the direction of the Imaging Department Director and radiologists. The role involves operating advanced diagnostic equipment and may require overtime or call-back duties.
Requires a high school diploma, enrollment in a radiologic technology school, and BLS certification. ARRT registration in MRI is required within 18 months of hire, with a preference for 2 to 3 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
