Provides essential support to nursing staff in Surgical Services by maintaining operating room cleanliness and organizing equipment. Assists with patient transport, positioning, and the preparation of surgical rooms and supplies.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, and previous related experience are preferred.
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse / Clinical Coordinator and professional nursing staff, the Operating Room Assistant (ORA) performs a variety of activities that provides support for the nursing staff within Surgical Services.
