Conduct thorough patient evaluations and physical examinations Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies Engage in detailed discussions with patients regarding their treatment options Provide on-call support and crisis management for patients as needed Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance care delivery Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology or Medical Oncology Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred Valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts Capable of handling a diverse range of patient cases and medical scenarios
Flexible Schedule: 8a-5p, 3 to 5-day workweek
Will cover multiple facilities
Patient Census: 12-15 per day
Case Split: 60% hematology, 40% medical oncology
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
