The MRI Assistant provides essential support to the MRI technician by screening and preparing patients for examinations. Responsibilities include managing patient paperwork, assisting with positioning, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the MRI rooms.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent with knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to follow MRI safety protocols are required.

What you’ll do: Our MRI Aide is responsible for providing support to the MRI technician. The Aide prepares patients for MRI examinations by greeting, screening, changing, completing and reviewing paperwork as well as assisting the MRI Tech with patient transfers, positioning and MRI room cleanliness. Responsibilities/Duties: Knowledge of MRI safety protocols Performs detailed pre-procedure patient screenings for MRI Safety Preparing patients for MRI procedures - changed into gowns/shorts, shoes and jewelry removed. Understands provider’s orders and requests. Brings patients to MRI room and escorts patient back to changing room. Assures a clean, stocked work area by maintaining MRI rooms, workstations, and break areas. Assist in maintaining an on-time patient schedule. Perform additional duties as assigned. Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
