The Registered Nurse provides clinical coverage in the Ambulatory Surgery Center, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety during the perioperative period. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaborating with the healthcare team to manage patient care plans.
Candidates must have at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, along with proficiency in EMR software and Microsoft Office.
The ASC Registered Nurse is available for any and all clinical nursing coverage as needed, and assists each assigned facility in maintaining compliance with regulations that require a registered nurse to be on site whenever procedures are performed in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
