Job description

The ED Registered Nurse at Adams Memorial Hospital functions under the\nsupervision of the ED Manager, ED Coordinator, and physicians to deliver and\nassess emergency and outpatient care for patients with varying levels of\ncriticality, utilizing the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage tool to\nprioritize treatment. The RN collaborates with other disciplines to coordinate\ncomprehensive care planning, provides education to patients and families,\nfosters a safe and comfortable environment, and actively pursues educational\nopportunities to maintain current skills and knowledge. As a vital member of the\ninterdisciplinary team, the ED RN contributes to achieving the hospital’s\nmission, vision, and values, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.\n\nEligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other\nbenefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!\n\nRequirements:\n\n36 hours per week - Third Shift\n\nMonday - Friday\n\n7:00 PM - 7:00 AM\n\nValid RN License in State of Indiana\n\nBLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS Certification\n\nOne year of ER or acute nursing experience preferred
