The technician is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays. They must operate sterilization equipment and maintain documentation according to AAMI and AORN standards to ensure timely instrument turnover.
A CRCST or equivalent certification is required along with previous sterile processing experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of infection prevention standards and be able to work rotating shifts.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.
