Posting Specifics Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: Variable days and swing shifts, rotating weekends Unit/Location: Park City hospital Additional Details: $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, Location differential pay, Shift differentials provided for evenings, nights, and weekends Essential Functions Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images Review images for quality and completeness; collaborate with radiologists as needed Maintain equipment and follow radiation safety standards (ALARA principles) Complete documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Support team workflow and assist with additional imaging needs as appropriate Skills Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniques Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team Excellent patient care and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Adaptability in a dynamic, small-hospital environment
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration Relevant State licensure (where required) Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT) (Where applicable) Must complete the controlled substance module (Where applicable) Must complete the initial moderate sedation module Specific facility-based certifications may also be required for this role. If this applies, each facility would define and manage compliance. 1+ years CT experience Physical Requirements Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.) May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
