The registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care within a patient and family-centered model. Key duties include protecting health, preventing illness, and documenting individualized plans of care.
Requires a valid Minnesota RN license and current ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates must have at least 1 year of ED or ICU experience, or 2 years of Inpatient Med/Surg experience.
We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department This position is a 0.6 FTE (6 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, Nights, and Every Other Weekend.
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health Preventing illness and injury Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
Certification in area of clinical specialty BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
