Performs routine patient care duties including monitoring vital signs, providing emotional support, and facilitating therapeutic groups. Ensures a safe environment through contraband searches and the application of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Requires a high school diploma and BLS certification, with a preference for degrees in Psychology or Social Work. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
