The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides critical respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting. Key duties include managing mechanical ventilation, administering aerosol delivery, and performing emergency procedures like CPR.
Candidates must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with an Ohio RCP license. BLS certification is required, while PALS and NRP certifications are preferred or required within six months.
