The BHT is responsible for responding to dispatch calls and transporting patients from CBI facilities. They perform in-field assessments to determine appropriate care levels and complete all required crisis intervention documentation.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree and EMT certification preferred. Candidates must have a valid Arizona driver's license and a clear 39-month motor vehicle record.

Job Summary The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Community Based Outreach Team Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for responding to calls dispatched by the CBI Access to Care Line and for transports from CBI facilities. The Community Based Outreach Team BHT is responsible for the in-field assessment of each referral to determine the appropriateness of care in consult with the CBI Triage RN when there is a question of need due to the severity of the level of risk in ASAM Dimensions 1, 2 and 3. The Community Based Outreach Team BHT is responsible to ensure that all documentation of Crisis Intervention Notes, Trip Tickets, and Mobile Crisis Intervention Field Forms on each patient prior to the end of his or her scheduled shift.
