The perioperative anesthesia RN is responsible for assessing, implementing, and coordinating anesthesia-related patient care activities. They serve as a resource person for various departments including Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, and Labor and Delivery.
Requires a minimum of four years of perioperative nursing experience and a degree from an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN required for new hires. Mandatory certifications include BLS and a Florida Registered Nurse License.
The perioperative anesthesia RN is responsible for assessing, delegating, implementing, evaluating and coordinating anesthesia related patient care activities; serves as resource person for the Anesthesia Department, Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, and Interventional Radiology; attends Anesthesia Department Meetings.
