Perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures for diagnosis and intervention under the direction of a Radiologist. Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures using independent judgment and initiative.
Candidates must hold ARRT, BLS, Florida Radiologic Tech, and Registered Tech Radiology certifications. Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is mandatory.
Department: Radiology_LWR Job Summary
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.
