$43,000 - $45,000 / YEAR
Responsible for recruiting, licensing, and retaining quality foster homes to meet community and organizational needs. This includes conducting home studies, providing ongoing training to foster parents, and ensuring compliance with all foster care rules and regulations.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a comparable Human Services field and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Two years of direct service experience with youth and families and a Child Welfare Licensing Certification are strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution. Preferred FCB certification in case management or licensing. 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record. 100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury required for car insurance. A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served. Recruit, train foster parents and perform licensing duties. Capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal customers. Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function. Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others. Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds. Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
