$60,000 - $65,000 / YEAR
Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services for adults in the Front Door Diversion Program. Collaborate with law enforcement and social service agencies to implement a Whole Person Approach to wellness.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and an Illinois state license (LSW, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT). Candidates must have at least two years of supervised postgraduate experience in mental health or human services.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from a CSWE accredited college or university- plus two (2) years of supervised postgraduate experience in mental health or human services. Holds an Illinois state license in the following areas: LSW, LCSW, LPCC, and/or LMFT. Knowledge of theories and frameworks related to Structural Violence; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Institutional Racism; or Mental Health Previous experience in crisis response, substance abuse, juvenile justice, or equivalent. Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs. An awareness or acceptance of the NASW Code of Ethics. Is committed to serving the underserved with dignity, compassion, and respect. Is an effective and efficient communicator. Other Skills Administrative and supervisory experience. Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations of social services, mental health, and children and families, crisis response, and substance abuse preferred. Leadership experience in community engagement, activism, or organizing. Experience designing and implementing programs, initiatives, or research projects. Driving and Vehicle Requirements Valid driver’s license. Reliable personal transportation. Good driving record. Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
