The Housing Coordinator manages housing resources and inventories to help clients secure safe and appropriate housing under the Money Follows the Person program. This includes identifying potential units, coordinating with landlords, and assisting clients with the transition and maintenance of their housing.
A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor's degree in Human Services is preferred, along with 1-2 years of experience in housing service coordination. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Summary The Housing Coordinator, under the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program, works with consumers, families, providers, landlords, property owners, and other staff to coordinate, manage, and implement housing tools, resources, and inventories to ensure that consumers secure safe and appropriate housing. At CCC all duties are performed in a manner that fosters the achievement of the organization's mission.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
One to two years experience in housing service coordination for the aging and persons with disabilities is preferred. Experience in real estate market and negotiation a plus Knowledge of the Independent Living philosophy a plus. Knowledge of community and housing resources in Connecticut, with the ability to understand and articulate multiple programs. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to keep organized and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with the needs of multiple vulnerable populations, especially older adults and persons with disabilities.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
