Provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit operations under the supervision of medical providers. Responsibilities include performing clerical functions and maintaining a safe environment for patients and families.
Requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in patient or customer-facing roles. Candidates must hold a recognized Medical Assistant certification and BLS certification upon hire.
Provides supportive patient care. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations. Performs clerical functions. Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees. Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skill level).

The pay range for this job begins at $19.68/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
