Appropriately assess for: a. physical & psychosocial emotional needs b. pain level c. barriers to learning d. educational learning needs e. discharge needs f. age related needs g. issues related to assault or abuse Analyzes patient related data, such as vital signs, past medical history, prenatal history, physical exam findings, laboratory values and other information, including age specific criteria, to determine appropriate care.
Provides health education and teaching to patient, family and significant others, that is age specific, providing for any barriers to learning.
