Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist)

This contract position offers the opportunity to work on-site, providing critical anesthesia care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia services, collaborating closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Consult with surgeons and healthcare teams to develop anesthesia plans Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure patient comfort and safety Evaluate patients' medical histories to anticipate anesthetic complications Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administered and patient responses Comply with all medical and safety protocols

Requirements

Active RN license and CRNA certification Associate degree in Nursing or related field Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an anesthesia setting Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: 8 and 10-hour shifts

No call requirement

General surgery (including robotic), GYN, urology, orthopedics, ENT, neuro (spine and cranial), vascular and endoscopy

Medical Supervision

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
