Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from substance use disorders. Coordinate care with community providers and maintain comprehensive client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requires a high school diploma and a combination of behavioral health education and experience totaling at least four years, or a degree in a behavioral health field. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and MVR clearance.
Sunday-Tuesday 6PM-6AM Shift differential pay of an additional $1.50/hr for hours worked from 4PM-4AM
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances. Whether facilitating individual or group sessions, or assisting patients with treatment plans and coping strategies, your work will help foster a safe place for anyone looking to start their recovery journey with us.

Must be 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required, plus: An associate degree and two years of relevant experience in behavioral health setting; OR a bachelor's degree in behavioral health field, OR master's degree in behavioral health field. An equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to behavioral health totaling 4 years is acceptable. High school diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling a minimum of four years may be acceptable. Valid state-issued driver's license and MVR clearance is required. A 39 month MVR is required. Active LAC license or above preferred #CONSL
