Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs and equipment, and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications and therapies per orders; manage IVs, lines, and drains following policy.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and provide patient and family education as appropriate.
• Document care accurately and timely, ensuring safety and quality of care across shifts.

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• ICU nursing experience preferred (minimum 1 year suggested)
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12)
• Work effectively in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
