The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing and coordinating patient care through assessment, planning, and evaluation. The role focuses on treating physical and psychosocial changes in patients within the Oncology and Nephrology units.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a valid Pennsylvania RN license. CPR certification is mandatory, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or specialty certification is preferred.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
