The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist provides direct patient care across various hospital units and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement medication-related programs. Responsibilities include order verification, developing medication policies, and precepting pharmacy students.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or a Bachelor of Science with hospital experience/PGY1 residency and be eligible for Virginia pharmacy licensure. Board certification and prior clinical practice experience are preferred.
